Are You Actually Any Good At Takeoffs?
You’re right – everyone can tell you about the quality of their work, but you don’t actually get that confirmation until after you’ve paid for something. Below are a few samples of our work, so you can be the judge.
What Software Do You Use?
We use Measure Square for all of our flooring and tile takeoffs. As you’re probably aware of, there are a lot of software options out there, but in our opinion, it is the best choice for commercial flooring.
Not to brag or anything, but we’re also an official takeoff partner with Measure Square. Ok, maybe a tiny brag.

Why should I pay your prices?”
On some jobs, it may make sense to go with someone cheaper. Budgets and early stage projects could be good options if you want to go that route.
For something that is a hard bid, though, cheaper may cost you in the long run. We get it – there are a lot of estimating services out there, and most of them are probably cheaper than we are.

What Counts as a Material?
Good question! Anything that we have to create for our material list is part of the count (Carpet, Tile, Rubber Base, etc.). Anything attached to those materials doesn’t count towards that total (Grout, SF Breakouts, Weld Rods, etc.).
How Do You Track the SF?
There will be a SF add-on attached to each product in Measure Square. You’ll be able to see the tally in the takeoff file and on the Excel sheet.
What Are Your Deliverables?
If you’re a Measure Square user, you’ll get back the source file. If you aren’t, you’ll receive a PDF of the takeoff and an Excel sheet with your totals.
Are Revisions Included?
Updates within the first 48 hours of submission are free, yes. This would be for changes to the takeoff after your review. Scope checks for RFIs & Addendums, or anything requiring a redraw will be priced separately.
How Is Invoicing Handled?
Everyone starts off being billed for each job individually. If volume increases enough, we have the option to move to a weekly or monthly schedule.
Are There Any Discounts?
Yes, there are price breaks at 50,000 and 100,000 SF for the larger projects.
